This is the point where patches and toppers meet. Four inches covers a broad thinning area across the crown or parting — and if you need more than this, you've reached the territory where a proper topper is the better answer, and we'll say so.

BEFORE YOU BUY
Measure the sparse area, or just send us a photo. If it's wider than four inches, this won't cover it and our 2.5×3.5 topper will — for not a great deal more money and with a much more natural parting. Buying two of these instead of one topper is the most common mistake we see, and it costs more and looks worse.
HOW TO WEAR IT
Section along the length of the area. Clip at the base of the section, parallel to your parting. Comb your own hair over the edges to blend.
CARING FOR IT
Wash only when it needs it, mild shampoo, cool water. Air-dry flat. Store flat in a pouch — the wider the base, the more it matters.
