Our bestseller, and for a good reason: at 3×5 inches it covers the full crown, which is where most hair thinning actually shows.
Front to back it reaches from just behind your natural hairline to the back of the crown. Side to side it covers the parting and the area either side that usually goes sparse along with it. For most women dealing with genuine crown thinning rather than a single spot, this is the size that solves it.
A topper covers what you place it over. It cannot help thinning at your temples, and it won't do anything for hair loss at the back or sides. If your hair is thinning all over rather than concentrated at the crown, a wig will serve you far better than any topper — and we would rather tell you that than sell you the wrong thing.
Part your hair. Backcomb lightly at the crown so the clips have something to grip. Clip the front edge first, just behind your own hairline, then the sides. Comb your hair over the edges to blend.
Wash every 8 to 10 wears with a mild shampoo in cool water. Squeeze, don't wring. Air-dry flat or on a stand, out of the sun. Store it in its box.
Send a photo of your parting on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the size before you spend anything.
